One of the quick go-to dishes in a regular kitchen is pasta. The number of variations to prepare this popular dish are endless, not just because of the many ingredients you can combine it with, but also the numerous different types and shapes they come in. Gnocchi is one of the variations that’s popular in European cuisine. Also described as small pasta dumplings that are often made with potatoes, eggs and wheat flour, gnocchi are actually very easy to prepare yourself. What we particularly like about them is that we can use any kind of vegetable to create a fantastic plant-based version to suit any mood.

Chefs love gnocchi for their versatility in terms of flavour and different ways of cooking. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to make these little treats yourself and how your choice of vegetable can turn your plate into an explosion of colours. Semolina beet gnocchi

This beet variant on the traditional gnocchi alla Romana adds a touch of soy sauce and basil and is a true taste-sensation. Served with sautéed cherry tomatoes, arugula, peanuts and tofu, you’ll be assured of a tasty and fresh meal.


Spinach gnocchi in a cream of leek​

​These nutritious homemade semolina and spinach gnocchi are served with slices of zucchini and crushed walnuts. So satisfying! 


Asian gnocchi stir-fry 

​Ever considered combining Italian with Asian cuisine? The sauce and vegetables give these homemade gnocchi a traditional Asian taste and will for sure surprise your guests.

Potato gnocchi with Argentinian pesto

A recipe that the grandmother of our chef Emiliano used to make that's both simple and complex at the same time. The delicious flavours come from the Argentinian-style pesto that's made with basil, walnuts and grana padano cheese.


Carrot gnocchi with roasted vegetables 

​The flavours of the oven roasted tomato, broccoli and onion in combination with the arugula pesto blend in perfectly with these carrot and semolina gnocchis. So easy and so yummy!
